Children / Youth
Children and Youth Ministry (newborns-12th Grade) at GracePoint exists to empower and equip infants through adolescents and their faith influencers to live a life committed to Christ.
Did you know that we only have children and youth an average of 40 hours a year in comparison with families who double that in just a matter of days? Each child or youth has a primary faith influencer in their life, so we exist not simply to feed the faith of children or youth but to equip and empower families to teach their children how to follow Christ. We hope that together as GracePoint, our children and youth will find a place where they belong, learn to believe for themselves that Jesus is Lord, and act upon that belief by living like Jesus did.
As a ministry to Children and Youth, we do not exist as isolated groups within our church. We work together to join in the mission and vision of GracePoint Church of the Nazarene, our denomination, and God’s overall mission for our world.
Adults
We facilitate a variety of avenues to help you meet people who share your same season of life. Young or old, Christian or non-Christian, single, married, or divorced, we desire to have a place for you to connect, grow, and serve.
Point Groups
Since the birth of the church, disciples have “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42) We believe spiritual growth happens best in community and we have Point Groups designed to help you connect with others and grow in your faith. They exist to transform lives through community, spiritual growth, and service.
Worship Arts
The worship arts ministry at GracePoint exists to glorify God through the use of artistic expression in communal worship. The areas of expression are diverse and unlimited and reflect many of the ways God gives us to worship Him together.
Worship is a response of humility, gratitude, and joy for God’s greatness and work in our lives (Psalm 100; Isaiah 44:23; Isaiah 51:11). Our mission is to provide intentional time and space to express worship to God and to be formed in our Christian faith through that expression. We desire to embrace the simple rhythm of God’s revelation, and our response.
While worship is not confined to artistic acts or within the time frames of our gathering, we believe in the importance of coming together as the church to worship in “spirit and truth” (John 4:23-24) and to seek the Lord as a community of faith.

Missions
Missions is the organizational pathway to share the love of Christ with those in our immediate community and around the globe. We highly value and are deeply committed to not just be a church that gathers to worship and grow, but that is a place that sends people out with the Gospel of Christ into their world.
We believe that everyone of all ages and skill levels should be involved in living out their faith, following Christ’s command to, “Go and make disciples of all nations.” This is done through the four purposes: Educate, Serve, Pray, and Give
Prayer
Prayer is how we become more like Jesus. We often mistake prayer for the means by which we get things from God, but that misses the point. Prayer is where we invite God to shape our wants and needs after his own character. It is in prayer that we most intentionally pursue Jesus. In the life of the church, nothing is more vital than prayer. When a church is filled with people pursuing Jesus, his Kingdom comes and his will is done.
Pathways of Prayer
As we engage in our “year of prayer” emphasis, there are many opportunities for you available to engage personally and corporately in prayer and learning. Below are pathways that you can be a part of.
REVIVE: Weekly “come & go” prayer gathering, Wednesday’s from 6:30-7:30pm in the Sanctuary.
Prayer Team available to pray with you in the front of the Sanctuary after Sunday gatherings starting September 9.
12 Hours of Prayer: A bi-yearly emphasis.
Personal Prayer Guides are available to each person.
Point Group: Becoming A Prayer Warrior led by Donna Walters will meet on Sunday’s at 9:30am in Rm. 103 to dive deeper into how to pray and how to become a prayer warrior through the study of the “5 W’s & 1 H” of prayer.
Prayer Room: A space dedicated for prayer has been established on the first floor across from the restrooms (in the former nursery). This is an interactive space that is available any time our building is open.
Prayer Mentorship: Prayer can be intimidating so we are committed to connecting people together for encouragement in fostering a deeper prayer life. If you want to learn how to pray, someone to pray with, or go deeper in your current prayer life, let us know. We will connect you with someone in our congregation that you can journey with.
