I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and received my undergraduate degree in ministry from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. I later earned a Master of Arts in Worship Studies from Liberty Theological Seminary, am completing a Master of Arts in Music and Worship from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and was Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 2009.
I have had the privilege of serving in various worship leadership roles since 2003, including local churches, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, international events, and many camps, retreats, revivals and conferences. I have also served churches in Kansas, Virginia, and Oklahoma.
I desire to see a community of people come together and worship God in a holistic way, including through the avenues of music, sound, lighting, art, drama, and rich imagery. My hope is that we can embrace our diversity in unity and love in order to worship God in the way that He intends.
I have been married to my wife Angelia since 2008 and we have two children; our daughter Maisie and son Hendrick.
